I needed a speaker for my summer party and so I bought this little guy. It was so loud and the bass was awesome. I have the bigger version too and I like this one better! It's so cute!

This thing bumps! Sound doesn’t become distorted when you turn up the volume like it does on other Bluetooth speakers. Great amount of bass. Feels like it is built well!

Have older JBL speakers and LOVE them. Good sound and easy connection. There are several teens in our house. Each wanted their own speaker, so the color options were helpful also.

The flip 4 is a great speaker for its size and provides boasting audio. You can snyc this speaker with another to create surround sound if desired.

I've owned the first generation JBL Flip for several years (maybe "many" is more accurate). It sounded so much better than any of the other powered speaker units I'd heard, and it is still working flawlessly (and holding battery charge) to this day. On a whim, about two months ago, I decided to upgrade to the "4" version. In a word, "Wow!" Yes, the bass is stronger and clearer than version 1; and yes, the highs are clearer, too. What I didn't expect was that the overall clarity across the full sound spectrum would be noticeably clearer as well - but it is. I highly recommend the JBL Flip 4 to everyone.

I was looking for something small with good sound to take to ththe beach and have at the pool. This speaker far exceeded my expectorations. Battery life is pretty good too!
