I was looking for something small with good sound to take to ththe beach and have at the pool. This speaker far exceeded my expectorations. Battery life is pretty good too!

Great little Bluetooth speaker that works awesome as a phone speaker too. I bought this speaker to use as a portable speaker for music as well as to use for family type conference phone calls. My dad is 90 years old so needless to say his hearing is not as good as it used to be. This little speaker worked great for the task. My wife claimed it after we finished the phone call to place in the bathroom to listen to music as she gets ready for work and such.

The sound quality alone is enough to make a person buy this. It has a slick style too it. It is water resistant and can be paired up with other JBL 4’s. I’m in love with it!

I've owned the first generation JBL Flip for several years (maybe "many" is more accurate). It sounded so much better than any of the other powered speaker units I'd heard, and it is still working flawlessly (and holding battery charge) to this day. On a whim, about two months ago, I decided to upgrade to the "4" version. In a word, "Wow!" Yes, the bass is stronger and clearer than version 1; and yes, the highs are clearer, too. What I didn't expect was that the overall clarity across the full sound spectrum would be noticeably clearer as well - but it is. I highly recommend the JBL Flip 4 to everyone.

This is the best Bluetooth speaker iPhone and it’s totally waterproof. I will definitely be purchasing a couple more since you can link all of them up to one device same time.

Highly recommended! The bass is amazing and you don’t have to turn it up all the way to hear the music. Great for taking it outdoors for camping or for parties.

The flip 4 is a great speaker for its size and provides boasting audio. You can snyc this speaker with another to create surround sound if desired.

Great speaker. Doesn't have as much low end as the Bose colorsound, but I purchased because it is more water resistant than current Bose offerings. And trust me, I'm no fan of Bose.

Great sound for the money, what one expects from JBL. The size allows me to take it on vacation and enjoy my music when traveling and on vacation.

Bought this for my wife as a birthday gift. She paired with her Android phone and uses almost daily while she is gardening. Love the sound and battery life.

Great sound quality and battery lasts surprisingly long. We had it on for a whole day and it only lost about half it's charge.

I own the Bose mini SoundLink gen 1 as well as the Bose SoundLink gen1. I love both of them. The batteries over the years don’t hold charges that long so I mainly have them stationary and on ac power. I saw this little guy on sale and figured I‘D check it out. What drew me towards it I was at a restaurant for a Christmas party and they were using the Charge 4’s and linking them throughout the restaurant. I thought that was cool and the sound was amazing. I put this little guy in my bathroom so when I shower and stuff I can rock out to my favorite tunes. For that environment it doesn’t disappoint. I think the bass response is pretty good for such a small footprint. You can feel the side cones moving with the bass. So far I haven’t had to recharge the unit yet, so I’m happy about that. For what I paid(59 bucks) it’s a keeper. I may get another JBL product later just to link the two and see how that works. For me this was a good purchase. Still think Bose is a better speaker but for the money, JBL makes a great product.
