This speaker is fun to look at, comes in many colors to go with any decor. The sound is amazing, the bass strong and its solid and feels like is sturdy and well balanced.

I bought this portable speaker for use on the job site and for floating down the river in a kayak. This little speaker can put out an amazing amount of sound. On the job site it’s great. It’s loud enough to be heard from across the house. When floating down the river I secure it to the kayak with a bungee and it’s never gone anywhere. I tested out the IPX7 waterproof rating. I literally put the speaker underwater while playing music. No problems at all! If you’re looking for a nice sounding, small, portable, waterproof (within limits) speaker I’d suggest taking a look at the JBL flip 4.

The Flip 4 is a great speaker especially for its size!! The highs and mids are awesome. Bass holds its own for this small speaker. JBL party mode allows connecting to other compatible JBL speakers, like my Charge 3. Stereo mode, though, only works with 2 speakers that are exactly the same, example Flip 4 to Flip 4.

I researched several blue tooth speakers before purchasing this awesome JBL Flip 4 speaker. I wasn't really looking for a speaker that could also be waterproof. I imagined that waterproof speaker couldn't sound good. I have really enjoyed the ease of pairing this speaker to my phone or IPad. The quality of sound is awesome while listening to music or playing a movie off my IPad. The battery life on this speaker is solid as it holds a charge and doesn't take forever to recharge when needed. The quality of this speaker is one you won't regret buying. If you purchase this speaker for someone else. You will be one up on them on gift giving!

Love the sound of it Flip 4 as it is more balanced, clean and louder than the 3. Battery life is far better than 3. The 4 looks and feels are more durable.
