Bought this to play music around the pool, chose this one over the more rugged speaker by another brand. This one is much louder than my beats pill and is waterproof. I can hear it over my air compressor when working in the garage. Only downside is it does not float. Still a great speaker.

Excellent sound and great quality for $80. Being waterproof is an added bonus, assuming it is. I don't plan on testing that anytime soon.
