This portable speaker is convenient for me when I travel because I can pack it easily. Also, to be a compact speaker, it puts out a very lound sound

I bought this because even though I have probably a dozen Bluetooth speakers, none of them could be easily attached to my Peloton bike. I know - first world problem much? The Peloton bike has an Android tablet as its “screen”. The speakers on that tablet are in the middle of the back of said tablet. So when taking a cycling class, the sound is going away from the rider (unless using headphones). A couple FB group members suggested the Flip 3. I had some Best Buy member point certificates & the Flip 5 was on sale, so I bit. This thing has phenomenal sound. The bass actually kicks for such a small unit (that’s what she said). It pairs really easy - I like the rev-up connect sound & the rev-down disconnect. I used it for 1-3 hours daily for 2 weeks without it running out of juice. When I finally did plug it in to charge, the LED indicator showed it still had just under 1/2 charge remaining. So can’t complain about the battery life. And the red color choice I made actually complements the accent colors on the Peloton bike. I didn’t want to spend this much on another Bluetooth speaker, but when it’s going on a $2200 indoor bike, why not? And it’s turned out to not be just another speaker!

This is a great device that makes the music boom. Being waterproof and the portability of this Bluetooth device makes a day at the beach a pleasure.

Speaker has good sound and long battery life. I use it outdoors and it can get pretty loud. Easy to take to the beach or pool. Great inside my apartment too.

This is a great speaker! I took it camping for two days and didn't even need to charge it until I got back home. The bass is deep and the sound is loud. Highly recommend it.

We already had the Flip3 and wanted another one. Sound is great, super easy to use and waterproof! We use it in the shower almost everyday!

 it really puts out some bass. Awesome sound. I have not put it in water yet, but definitely used it throughout my entire trip to Mexico. I love it. I’m so glad I purchased this one.

Bought this on sale for 89.00 after hearing a friend's Bose. Every bit as good, possibly better. Easy to sync and volume really hits above it's price tag. Get one.

Excellent sound and long battery life Good bass and clear voice

Incredible sound for such a small speaker. Full sound range. Do not buy this thinking you will rock the neighborhood; this will fill a small room with amazing (and impressive) sound. I heard this play at about the same time I needed to buy a gift for someone. Choice made-bought it, they love it! Would not hesitate to buy it for myself when I replace my portable Bluetooth speaker. JBL has a very good reputation and has maintained high quality for over 40 years that I have bought or owned their products. Just remember what you are buying; a small portable full range speaker not a Boombox.

Bought for my son for a Christmas gift and he loves it. Sound is good coming from a small speaker. Easy to take with you out to the beach, hiking or even a pool day.
