This speaker is great! The sound is very clear and crisp, the volume is about halfway and is loud. If you turn it up all the way it is really loud! I like to use it by the pool and patio area. Battery last a good amount of time, would be nice if it had a cradle to rest in, because it is round and somewhat heavy it rolls. Great sound for all music, powerful worth the price.

I have an older model of this unit and loved it so I purchased this model for my wife for Christmas. She loves it. It is well constructed and has excellent tone quality for a device so small. It is easy to sync with any Bluetooth compatible device. It charges easily and holds a charge for a long time. Very portable so can be used in almost any situation.

I love this speaker. I was afraid of it rolling off of tables, etc., because of the design but so far, no accidents. It's heavier than it looks. The sound is good for just working in the garden. My one complaint is that when I am wearing my apple watch and have my phone on me, the Bluetooth 'control' switches back and forth between the two. I'll figure that out eventually.

Easily the best bluetooth speaker I've purchased. Compact, easy to use and has a lot of bass for how small it is. It easily fills a room. I use it when I'm cooking and it's nice to have when I go out golfing since it snuggly fits in the cup holder of the golf cart so it won't fall out if you hit a big bump (don'tcha hate when that happens?).

For a little speaker like this, it sure is loud. I can only imagine how loud the bigger ones would sound. This speaker is good for adults/kids who like to listen to music while they clean. Just a suggestion to all, it even comes with a strap and you can loop it thru your belt and won't have to worry about dropping it. I hope all of you enjoy the rest of your day!

Puts out a lot of sound for such a small speaker. We like that it is waterproof, take it on the pontoon while vacationing in northern Wisconsin. JBL is easy to connect your smart phone to and plays for several hours on a single charge. I would highly recommend this speaker.

While you can not go wrong with the JBL brand in their large home speakers. The sound quality takes you by surprise for the size with this portable speaker. Normally with a small speaker the highs are there but if you don't have woofer size you don't get good bass. That is not the case with this. Price is a great value for what you get.

Excellent sound, versatility and peace of mind (waterproof). Battery life has been very good, especially if the sound is not cranked al the way up. My teenage son uses this constantly and it goes everywhere with him. He and his buddies also link them together for even louder music (teenage neccesity).

My wife bought this for her office space, but we've used it around the house and I'm surprised at the quality of sound that such a small portable speaker can produce. The build quality seems excellent and it comes in a decent case for transportation. All in all, it seems like a great option if you want something small but with excellent quality sound.

I purchased this Flip 5 as an open-box sale and I have been happy with the speaker so far. It has a nice sound and it paired easily with my 7th generation iPad. I use it mostly when watching old shows or movies on Hulu and Netflix.

Awesome portable music for the price. I have been using this for several months now and the sound is crystal clear even in the rain. I have had other brands such as Bose, Sony, etc. This little guy packs a punch. Easy to carry in back pack or cooler. Highly recommend purchasing for a gift or treat yourself!

First non Bose speaker I have purchased. This is great! It's portable, easy to bring places, connects with my phone, very durable, and I even use it to connect to my wall mounted TV when I eat dinner (we do not have any speaker or soundbar connected to it because it would show wires and/or wreck the beauty of our fire place mantel).

Great sound with this Flip 5 portable Bluetooth speaker. The range is great and allows me to carry my connected phone or iPad at least 75 feet and remains connected. It works so well and the sound is so much better than listening on phones or tablets. I bought a second one for my wife.

Indoors great sound, but when I'm riding my Ebike., it loose it's sound. It's not strong enough for biking.

We love our JBL speakers! Yes, I said speakers, this our second portable speaker and we couldn’t be happier. Buy it for the portability, water proofing or the stylish design but your favorite reason is going to be the sound. Crystal clear highs and lows and great bass. I would not hesitate to buy another.
