I did all three reasons. I watched videos to make sure these were it. I returned a different brand because there was no Aux port. I get these and there is no aux port! Also they don't link easily. They also cut in and out. I have been i n touch with technical support with in the fisrt use.

I have the same problem. I tried to connect 3 different phones . Sound is interrupted periodically everywhere. Hard reset not help.

Posted .We appreciate your feedback with our JBL Flip 5. Bluetooth typically performs well within a 30-foot range, but walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede this. If you experience dropouts within 10 feet, there may be interference. To resolve the issue with your speaker, ensure it is within 10 feet of your device with a clear line of sight (no obstacles). Try to forget/unpair the speaker on your device, and initiate a reset. To reset, turn on the speaker then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than 3 seconds. Lastly, try to connect the speaker to a different device to determine if the issue lies with the speaker or the initial device you paired them with. If you need more help, please contact us at (877) 871-6755 / Mon - Fri: 9:00 am - 11:00 pm (ET) Sat-Sun: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (ET).

Suffers the same poor battery life as the Flip 4. Also this unit began to make a crackling noises after only two days of playing time. Returned this unit for a different brand Bluetooth speaker.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. For our JBL Flip 5, source devices (phones, tablets, etc.) all behave a bit differently. Some have very loud outputs, and some can be quite a bit lower, even at maximum volumes. You may try to use an equalizer like JBL App on your music application to adjust the volume to your preference. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

Had to return one to get a new one 3 weeks later because it wouldn’t charge any longer. They ordered me a new one, and now the other original one I had won’t charge and Best Buy’s return policy is only 2 weeks. Worst products ever, worst return policy ever (because the product is clearly defective).
