It is a good speaker

Flip 5 does not have USB input, it has Bluetooth only. However it works our newer laptops at home not our older PC's.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback about our JBL Flip 5. The micro-USB port isn't part of the design on our JBL Flip 5 because most of the latest models of smartphones support type-C cable. The speaker has a more user-friendly design by removing the rubber flap, which sometimes causes the charging cable to be bent. Type-C supports fast charging. This allows for energy-efficient use. On the other hand, we decided to remove the AUX input because this feature was not being used by most of our customers. Posted .Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. For our JBL Flip 5, source devices (phones, tablets, etc.) all behave a bit differently. Some have very loud outputs, and some can be quite a bit lower, even at maximum volumes. You may try to use an equalizer like JBL App on your music application to adjust the volume to your preference. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

I have the same problem. I tried to connect 3 different phones . Sound is interrupted periodically everywhere. Hard reset not help.

Posted .We appreciate your feedback with our JBL Flip 5. Bluetooth typically performs well within a 30-foot range, but walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede this. If you experience dropouts within 10 feet, there may be interference. To resolve the issue with your speaker, ensure it is within 10 feet of your device with a clear line of sight (no obstacles). Try to forget/unpair the speaker on your device, and initiate a reset. To reset, turn on the speaker then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than 3 seconds. Lastly, try to connect the speaker to a different device to determine if the issue lies with the speaker or the initial device you paired them with. I did all three reasons. I watched videos to make sure these were it. I returned a different brand because there was no Aux port. I get these and there is no aux port! Also they don't link easily. They also cut in and out. I have been i n touch with technical support with in the fisrt use.
