Poor battery life

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was the second JBL Flip speaker I bought after exchanging the Flip 4. Suffers the same poor battery life as the Flip 4. Also this unit began to make a crackling noises after only two days of playing time. Returned this unit for a different brand Bluetooth speaker.

Defective, two times over

Had to return one to get a new one 3 weeks later because it wouldn’t charge any longer. They ordered me a new one, and now the other original one I had won’t charge and Best Buy’s return policy is only 2 weeks. Worst products ever, worst return policy ever (because the product is clearly defective).

Apple Users Beware - Won't pair with iMac Mini

Had a staccato sound, cutting out every couple of seconds. Called JBL & Apple numerous times trying to problem solve. Invested a lot of time trying to resolve the issue. Extremely frustrating. Not happy with JBL's customer service. Since I bought it for use with my computer I had to return it. Really wish it would've worked for my intended use. Command buttons hard to locate. Since they are the same color as the exterior they don't stand out. Hard to find.

As a senior on a tight budget, I was searching for an inexpensive portable speaker with decent sound. Was a bit leery of all the over-the-top reviews, but, believe me, they are spot on! Awesome base and I'd probably blow out my windows if I cranked the volume up over 75%! Got the speaker on sale, but it's definitely worth full price, if that's what you have to pay. Easy to set up on both phone and laptop. Great for personal use or to gift.
