I purchased this speaker, to replace my Flip4. Which, started having charging issues. The sound quality is not an improvement, but is still very good. I was hoping for a bit more bass, but t I didn't want to go bigger. The button array could be better. The depressed power button can be difficult to press, in comparison to its predecessor. I am pleased with the improved versatility of the updated charge port. Overall, so far, impressed with the quality.

The JBL Flip 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker works perfectly for providing audio backing tracks for our musical group. With Its size and portability it fits into my gig bag. No more lugging a large amp to practice.

Replaced an aging JBL Flip2 with this. It is great. I use it to bring my TV sound close to me so that I can keep the volume down on the main set and not bother anyone else. It's everything I hoped for.

I purchased this in october 2024 to replace my last JBL speaker that I had and used for years, took it with me everywhere. A year and half later the newer one stopped working, doesn’t even turn on, I’ve used this one less than the previous one but it seems products arent made to last the same way, of course the warranty was only for one year and it took a year and 3 months for it to completely die on me. Will be looking for a new brand to try.

I had the previous model JBL Flip 4 for a few years and loved it. The JBL Flip 5 has much more bass and sounds even better. I was upset to find out that I couldn't link the two together, but really probably wouldn't use that very often anyway.

Nice sound while sitting around the campfire, the boat or where ever you choose to relax. Enough bass for the size so that your music is not tinny. Good volume while not being overbearing to those that may be camping not to far away.

This is so durable and the sound is great. It holds a charge for a long time. Great portable speaker

Christmas gift for my grandson and he absolutely loves it. He uses at the beach and in the weight room for football practice.

Good speaker. Don't see or hear big difference with Flip 4 but the price was right and it sounds great.

LOVE it - this is one item I use every day. I has decent bass for music and works when quite a long distance from my phone or iPad. I need to be careful when Summer comes - it has such a long range that I left my phone in the house and took my speaker outside while doing yard work. One of the times I must have forgotten to bring it back in and since we have three acres of land - lots of wooded area and a pond...I have not seen it since. I finally broke down and purchased a new one - I will be more careful with this one.

This speaker is booming for such a small speaker. This is a great product for the beach or even just to listen to music at home. Small footprint and works great!

Easy and quick to pair with laptop and iPhone. Sound performance is good and recharges quickly.
