The sound quality is AMAZING and it is durable. I bought one for my work at a preschool so we can listen to music on the playground. It is soooooo much better than any I have bought before. Because I was so impressed with the one I bought for the school I bought another for my dad. He loves it! My husband is an electrical and sound engineer. I used to work for a company that made speakers for a living. He is incredibly particular about sound quality. He was very impressed and loves it. Also, the battery lasts a long time and it is so easy to use. I have also purchased JBL PartyBoxes for work and for my daughter's wedding. They are amazing as well and are used often also. It is nice to have the little one when I don't want to haul the PartyBox outside. I highly recommend.

I got a Toshiba with less than 1/2 price but the sound is a lot better than this. Nice and neat look though but unfortunately I had to return.
