    I had the charge 4 and it was louder than the flip 5… not loud at all, returned and exchanged for something else

    I love this speaker! Use it almost everyday! My only complaint would be that it says it last for 12 hours when it does not

    Easy to set up and get going. Doesn't sound quite as good as my former UEBoom 2. But it costs less and has USB-C. Would recommend.

    The Best Buy clerk should have recommended one older JBL Flip 4 and not Flip 5 which we bought/ We had asked for one with USB input speaker. Flip 5 does not have USB input, it has Bluetooth only. However it works our newer laptops at home not our older PC's.

      Thanks for your feedback about our JBL Flip 5. The micro-USB port isn't part of the design on our JBL Flip 5 because most of the latest models of smartphones support type-C cable. The speaker has a more user-friendly design by removing the rubber flap, which sometimes causes the charging cable to be bent. Type-C supports fast charging. This allows for energy-efficient use. On the other hand, we decided to remove the AUX input because this feature was not being used by most of our customers.     I bought 2 to replace my charge 3 that had a blown speaker. I did all three reasons. I watched videos to make sure these were it. I returned a different brand because there was no Aux port. I get these and there is no aux port! Also they don't link easily. They also cut in and out. I have been i n touch with technical support with in the fisrt use.
