    i heard this speaker at a friends house and it was awesome! so i bought one. well not so awesome. its ok i guess. not as loud and this one is muffled when volume goes up. ????? idk im just an innocent shopper. i have no idea why i always seem to get the elemons

    Amazing sound from such a tiny speaker! As a senior on a tight budget, I was searching for an inexpensive portable speaker with decent sound. Was a bit leery of all the over-the-top reviews, but, believe me, they are spot on! Awesome base and I'd probably blow out my windows if I cranked the volume up over 75%! Got the speaker on sale, but it's definitely worth full price, if that's what you have to pay. Easy to set up on both phone and laptop. Great for personal use or to gift.

    Does not hold a charge longer than 5 hours. And even when its charging it drains the battery and turns off.

    It hit the floor once and broke (on carpet), the speakers were buzzing and unable to be used past that point. It was barely used.

    Speaker blew out within four months. It was never used at max volume. Waste of money, don’t buy.

      Thanks for your feedback. Let's isolate the issue with your JBL Flip 5 by trying to connect your speaker to a different source device or source application. You can also try to check the equalizer settings on your source app, which may help you possibly fix the issue. Next is reset, turn on the speaker then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than three seconds. The speaker will turn off, and reboot to factory default. You may need to 'forget' the speaker in the Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet to pair it again. If the issue remains, you may file a warranty claim to our official website or contact us for further assistance. JBL

    the speaker has a lot of distortion. i had to return once and the second one has the same issue. wanted to return it but did not have time to go back to the store.

Please try connecting the speaker to a different source like another phone, tablet, or computer, and make sure that your JBL Flip 5 and your source device are within the Bluetooth range of 10m.     Not worth the upgrade. I wouldn't pay the full price for this speaker, not worth it. I bought it for $69.99 + tax but if I could change it for something better I would. I would pay more than $50 for it

    For all the people giving this such great reviews, I am at a loss. Bought it awhile ago and it mostly gathers dust. Thought I did my research. Base is not good and general sound quality is poor. Wish I would have returned and bought something else

    Does not keep a charge & randomly shuts off

    The product wouldn’t keep a charge after 16 days and would randomly shutoff. Even after troubleshooting. I looked for return instructions and was 1 day shy of the return date. So I had to return to the manufacturer.

    Bad MacBook connection

    Good overall speaker except for when connecting to MacBook Pro it consistently loses signal and I have to repair it to get it work right. It works great with my phone but the main reason I bought it was to use with my Mac.

      Thank you for your feedback. This instance is sometimes caused by the quality of your source, depending on what you are listening to. You may check the music player app to see if the Equalizer is engaged. If engaged, turn off the Equalizer. If turning it off does not resolve the issue, turn it on again and adjust the EQ by boosting the bass to your liking.
