Perfect size to take anywhere and the sound quality is superb!

Incredible sound for such a small speaker. Full sound range. Do not buy this thinking you will rock the neighborhood; this will fill a small room with amazing (and impressive) sound. I heard this play at about the same time I needed to buy a gift for someone. Choice made-bought it, they love it! Would not hesitate to buy it for myself when I replace my portable Bluetooth speaker. JBL has a very good reputation and has maintained high quality for over 40 years that I have bought or owned their products. Just remember what you are buying; a small portable full range speaker not a Boombox.

We purchased this JBL-Flip 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker for our Grandson for his 15th birthday. We had never heard of the JBL speaker before. It was the first item my Grandson had listed on his birthday list. Since it was the first item on his list, we felt it was something that he really wanted. After doing some research, we chose the JBL-Flip 5 speaker. We would recommend this JBL speaker for young and old. My son bought me the exact same speaker for Christmas and, if truth be told, I've been enjoying this speaker every bit as much, as my Grandson enjoys his.

I bought this to replace my nearly 10 year old JBL Flip 2 because the battery only lasts around 30 minutes now. The Flip 5 has a great battery. It lasts at least 10 hours of continuous play. That's the good part. The bad part is it doesn't sound nearly as good as the Flip 2. First of all, it's mono. I knew this going in so it's not than big a deal. Second, it has way too much bass. Even with my equalizer set to the "less bass" or "Flat" settings, the bass overshadows all other frequencies. When compared side by side with the Flip 2, it sounds like part of the music is missing. I intend to keep it because it's a pretty good portable speaker but, I just ordered a new battery (which is a PIA to replace) for my Flip 2.

Very loud speakers and very clear got it as a gift for Christmas and loving it when I need to jam.

These JBL Flip 5 bluetooth speakers are awesome. I can use just one or use both of them with the JBL app and put in stereo mode. Would recommend these speakers to anyone. Great sound and they go where you go. Don't hesitate, get to Best But and pick them up!

This is my first bluetooth speaker. I didn't know what to expect, but it paired with my laptop (portable jukebox) with no issues. For it's size the sound was great, the volume was epic. The packing material serves as a case that seems like it will provide near indestructible protection, although it is somewhat clunky. There was no charger or cable included. A "C" type USB cable is required. The speaker charged quickly from my laptop, I also used a cheap wall charger which also worked fine. I am quite happy with this speaker!

Small, but great sound output. Would recommend for connection to iPad or iPhone.

Great speaker good battery life not too heavy of a speaker

Love the sound from this. The size is perfect too as it fits perfectly in my bottle cages. Battery life is great and even when it runs out it can still play while plugged in. Party mode is great and flawless though it was a bit of a let down when we tried to pair it with a flip 4 and it did not. Will be buying another one for party mode and using it to cover more areas when I am working in multiple areas like the upstairs and then the garage with the saw.

Love the JBL. Great sound and easy set up. Best buy is always easy and fast. For the price this was the right one for us.
