They are super durable because I take them to the beach and pool , at least 30 weeks a year. They endure 100 degree heat, sand. Etc. I am a traveling party and people always gravitate towards the music.

Unfortunately, JBL changed connection standards between the 4 and 5, so they don't work with each other. Took it back and bought a 4. If you don't need to connect to a 4, you'll probably like the sound quality and portability of this speaker. Wish it would've worked for what I needed.

No matter what type of music you listen to this will do the job. I haven’t tried it outside yet, but indoors is excellent. Always remember if you are not happy with your sound, check your music equalizer.

I like that the charging cable is USB-C and not micro USB. The sound quality is excellent and the speaker easily connects to our phones.
