I have been buying a JBL Bluetooth speakers every year for the past 6 years. Every year they get progressively better and the Flip 5 did not disappoint. This is the best sounding Flip yet. The sound is definitely crisper/clearer than the previous year and is able to compete with the much higher priced Bluetooth speakers. In addition, I can daisy chain my JBL speakers together for additional volume if needed. This is the best bang for the buck by far in Bluetooth speakers.

Power enough for over eight hours with music you like...good for the indoor and outdoors activity

The sound is great and it stands up in a construction environment. The advertised 12 hour battery life is stretching it. Maybe it'll last 12 hours if you have it turned down on lowest volume but around 5 hours is what I've seen.

This speaker sounds great. Nice and full. I bought this for my son for Christmas. I have the Bose Soundlink and side-by-side I think the JBL sounds a bit richer in the mid-range. But that's just subjective. I would like the JBL better if it had speakerphone capabilities though like the Bose.

It is small but powerful. it was easy to connect to my phone. The sound is great for its small size. The color is beautiful.

This speaker has large sound in a compact package, overall sound is well balanced. It doesn’t have booming bass if that’s what you like.

Loud speaker and durable, I use it in a metal fabrication shop and despite all the surrounding noise, I can still listen without full volume.

Great sound and easy connectivity. Disappointed it lost some of the functionality of its predecessor the Flip 4. There is no longer a Microphone for the hands free ability. This was a primary feature for me and the Flip 5 becomes a bit lackluster without it.

It is a really nice speaker. Can handle volume. Recommend for anyone

Excellant product. This is the 4th one I've purchased I love them they all connect at the same time to create awesome surround sound.

Good little speaker, the battery runs out kind of fast but then again I am blasting it high. I would recommend if you have nothing else and don't want to spend too much on a portable speaker.
