Connected to my CNC, I have a monitor mounted on the wall with a mini PC attached to that. I needed sound and with the compact setup I didn't want the traditional space robbing computer speakers. I use this for that purpose. I have it mounted directly under the monitor so that the dialog in videos comes from the correct place like it would if I had it mounted off to one side. One thing I figured out is, I have it plugged into one of the USB slots on the PC and connected via Bluetooth. This keeps the unit charged and wakes it up when the PC does.

A great portable high fidelity Bluetooth speaker. It has JBL quality, small form-factor and fantastic sound. The battery has an impressive play time on a charge.

WOW! This portable bluetooth speaker is a powerful device! I have purchased several other portable bluetooth speaker, but none come close to the quality of sound produced from this speaker. I HIGHLY recommend the JLB Flip 5 speaker.

If you have the jbl flip 4 then don't waste your money in the flip 5... Not worth the change. You're no longer going to be able to make phone calls thru the speaker. Have no idea why they took the microphone off... I'm pretty sure they'll put it back on the next speaker cause it was a stupid thing to do to take it off. Another bad thing they did was to make it a mono speaker, only one speaker in the front, didn't like it. It does sound a little louder but not worth the change if your flip 4 is still in good shape. If you have older version of the speaker, you will not be able to link it to the flip 5... On that one I'm not sure about but that's what I heard. It still a beautiful speaker don't get me wrong, but it's taking features that were part of the good thing that had the JBL flip speakers.

JBL is simply the best for long lasting quality and sound. It can withstand literally anything…except leaving it in a golf cart…which is why I’m buying another

The battery life on this speaker is fantastic. This is very durable and spends a lot of time outside on our side by side. The sound gets really loud for a small speaker.

I was looking for a portable speaker loud enough to fill the sound by the pool but small enough to fit in my summer bag. This item sounds good and the battery lasts. I Also love it comes in teal.

Nice little speaker for around the home. Purchased this to use while painting the house and working on the new floors and décor! It was perfect for all of that and more.

I have had the opportunity and enough time to test this speaker and I tell you that it is an audio powerhouse, it is excellent and comfortable and wonderful for outdoors.

Purchased Last Christmas and used daily, I have reached battery to 90 percent all year without any loss of operation time, this speaker out performs my expectations in sound and durability performance. I carry anywhere I want to enjoy music.

Portable works great but sound is not as loud as others

Was impressed with the sound quality as well as the unit itself. Bought to replace an older unit without Bluetooth capabilities this more than fulfilled my needs. Portable to boot.

I’ve only had this speaker for a year and a half and it’s already not charging. Great sound for my office but glad I got the protection plan for it. Guess I’ll upgrade.

perfect mid-price bluetooth speaker. good for hanging with friends, and waterproof if you get it wet.
