Couldn't hold volume for 2 hours

My priorities were room filling volume, battery life, and last sound quality. I'm going to return this item because it only hit room filling sound. I played this at 60-70% volume level and it only lasted an hour and 45 minutes...no party there. The sound is OK at low volumes but when it ramps up, the bass drops out and even the mid level sounds flat. I'm just so disappointed because I've liked JBL products in the past. I'll try the Sony out next.

I’ve experienced no issues so far. Concern: It can only connect to other JBL Flip 5s, which sucks because I also have a Flip 4. They should be compatible together.
