I opted for the jbl5 over the next step up due to the sheer size aspect. I usually use my speaker for workouts in the garage or when I’m outside working around the yard, and it is fantastic. The battery life is easily 8 hours running at 75-90% volume, and the ability to toss it in a gym bag and go was a must for me. Definitely would recommend.

This speaker is fantastic, sounds great pretty long battery life , can connect to other jbl speakers. Only complaint is it doesnt have fast Charging. It will die sometimes when it has low battery but has been plugged in. It should be able to play and charge no matter what.

I bought this for my dad who is absolutely non-knowledgeable about setting up anything Bluetooth lol however he called me to tell me he had no problem setting it up at all. He said that the speaker works great and his friends love listening to it while they play darts in the garage.

Absolutely wonderful product to help you make it a party wherever you go. I bought this as a present for my mother so she could play her music while she was out gardening. The sound is nice, loud, and clear. Loved how easy it was to connect and it has not been an issue for her to operate. There have not been any disconnection issues which is a problem I've faced on other bluetooth devices. Battery life has not been a worry as it lasts the music marathons quite well. If you are looking for a portable speaker with good sound and that it is easy to use look no further.

Incredible sound for such a small speaker. Full sound range. Do not buy this thinking you will rock the neighborhood; this will fill a small room with amazing (and impressive) sound. I heard this play at about the same time I needed to buy a gift for someone. Choice made-bought it, they love it! Would not hesitate to buy it for myself when I replace my portable Bluetooth speaker. JBL has a very good reputation and has maintained high quality for over 40 years that I have bought or owned their products. Just remember what you are buying; a small portable full range speaker not a Boombox.

Best speaker I purchased, I got this for my boyfriend as a valentines gift and though it’s small, it’s very loud and has a good bass , you don’t need to put the volume up as much for it to be loud ! I recommend if you are looking for a speaker with good sound quality but also on a budget !

We purchased this JBL-Flip 5 Portable Bluetooth Speaker for our Grandson for his 15th birthday. We had never heard of the JBL speaker before. It was the first item my Grandson had listed on his birthday list. Since it was the first item on his list, we felt it was something that he really wanted. After doing some research, we chose the JBL-Flip 5 speaker. We would recommend this JBL speaker for young and old. My son bought me the exact same speaker for Christmas and, if truth be told, I've been enjoying this speaker every bit as much, as my Grandson enjoys his.

Amazing sound that really fills a room! Even on half the volume it’s loud and really lets you hear the fullness of the music that headphones and even your tv can’t quite measure up to. And I love how small and portable it is. Bonus? The charge lasts a really long time.

Love the sound from this. The size is perfect too as it fits perfectly in my bottle cages. Battery life is great and even when it runs out it can still play while plugged in. Party mode is great and flawless though it was a bit of a let down when we tried to pair it with a flip 4 and it did not. Will be buying another one for party mode and using it to cover more areas when I am working in multiple areas like the upstairs and then the garage with the saw.
