I will say like I always do JBL is a very great and solid company for portable speaker all around yes tons of other brands but for reliability, versatility and quality the price will always be fair. love them and i hope they continue to do great things.

Great little speaker for the price. It's louder than you would think. It's waterproof, so it's safe to use around water.

I bought this wonderful small, easy to pack JBL speaker to use as background music for a small reunion of classmates. When I purchased it, I asked a clerk his opinion on two bluetooth speakers I was holding. He didn't hesitate to say JBL. It was $10 cheaper than the other one. I am not rating the battery life because I left it charging while it was playing.

I initially was unsure if this speaker would meet my needs. I needed a portable speaker to use while doing projects around the house. I played podcast, voices were nice clear and intelligible. I then tested play music, specifically Nu Metal (Linkin Park, Papa Roach etc.) , and old school Metal (Metalica, Dio and the like). I streamed this music and found the sound quality decent.

This is perfect for inside use. I use it while doing projects around the house and it has more bass and power than I thought it might.
