Wont Charge or turn on after 2 months

Called JBL troubleshooted the speaker and still will not hold a charge and not turn on. I usually have good luck with JBL speakers and they sound amazing. Highly disappointed in this item. JBL will be sending me a replacement. Hopefully it works better than this one.

When I charge the battery using a USBC port, it makes a loud siren noise and won’t stop.

Wont charge

Posted .Thanks for reaching out. Here are some things to try that often fix these issues. Try a different USB cable. Try a different USB charger, rated at least 2 amps. Try disconnecting the cable from your product and re-inserting it. Sand or dirt can get into the product’s charging port. Check the port. Clean if needed with compressed air or a toothpick. If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact our customer support.

In addition, please know that battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime. Did not expect just such great quality in sound when I purchased this speaker. Great for pool parties being this speaker is waterproof. Not to mention affordable!
