Once I dropped it in the pool and it played perfectly fine after a quick save.

JBL, like usual, has created a quality product that achieves all that it sets out to do. I was impressed by the bass response in such a small package, and it enjoys frequent trips to the beach with no issues to speak of.

Disappointed, not worth it

This would be an amazing product if the battery life wasnt soso very extremely short. I wanted to take this with me on my florida beaching vacation but it would be a waste of time due to the terrible battery life. I purchased a jbl megaboom 9 years ago and the battery lige 9n it is absolutely fantastic. I would not recommend this product unless you plan on using it where you have ready access to electricity, to keep it charged. Its ashame that something with that poor if quality costs sooo much money.

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit.
