They sound great and the price is competitive to other brands. This speaker packs a punch and it also has a feature that allows you to connect to more than one (if you choose to buy more). My issue is that this is my 3rd JBL Flip 6. The first one had issues with the power button. The second speaker started to get static and muffled sounding. Luckily I’m a Best Buy Total Tech member and it allows my purchases to be covered for up to 24 months. This made exchanging it very easy but I did end up having to pay a balance on the retail price because when I originally purchased it, it was on sale (Black Friday). Still better than paying full price for a replacement and the replacement speaker is now covered for another 2 years. Hopefully I don’t have any more problems. I own other JBL speakers (Charge 1, Charge 4 & Charge 5) and I still love the brand.

If you're experiencing a sound issue with your JBL Flip 6, please try connecting the speaker to other devices to determine whether the issue lies with the unit or the source device. If the problem persists, try resetting the unit to factory default settings by turning on the speaker and pressing and holding both the 'Volume +' and 'Play' buttons for more than 3 seconds. The speaker will turn off and reboot to factory default settings. You may need to 'forget' the speaker in the Bluetooth settings on your phone or tablet in order to pair it again. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact our customer support.

So far, the quality is significantly better. Still have yet to take the speaker outside in various different environments, so I'm excited to see how the speaker adapts to a new environment.

Battery life seems excellent, I've not drained it down yet. Usually go half way and put it back on the charger after maybe 5 hours.

Unit just cut off on me at work and I thought something was wrong. Then I saw the battery was dead. Sounds great though...
