Posted .Thanks for reaching out. Here are some things to try that often fix these issues. Try a different USB cable. Try a different USB charger, rated at least 2 amps. Try disconnecting the cable from your product and re-inserting it. Sand or dirt can get into the product’s charging port. Check the port. Clean if needed with compressed air or a toothpick. When I charge the battery using a USBC port, it makes a loud siren noise and won’t stop.

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. Posted .Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. With our JBL FLip 6 Charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact our customer support.

In addition, please know that battery wears out over time. Even if listening at maximum volume to heavy bass music, the battery should last longer than 60% of the published playtime. Did not expect just such great quality in sound when I purchased this speaker. Great for pool parties being this speaker is waterproof. Not to mention affordable!
