Very good multiuse speaker purchase this little guy and after one summer best portable speaker out there. From the pool to the golf course, you can pump the jams with this one.

Pretty nice speaker. Good punchy bass and loud volume. Perfect for beach trips! Not the cheapest, but it's with it if you want a good Bluetooth speaker.

I'm an indie producer, so I generally appreciate any device or medium that provide the song in the way the producer wanted the song to jam. This has a nice flat response from what I'm able to hear verses the reference tracks I use in the studio. You really are hearing a lot of small instrumentation without EQ'ing. I've heard the 5, and they are voiced the same, but this has an additional tweeter so you can get those tasty mids and high mids, which are usually left in a blah place with portables. Long story short: independent music producer and multi-instrumentalist is quite happy with the product. I have a trained ear and these sound true to production. **I did order one Open Box - Excellent. 95% of the time, that savings is decent and you are essentially getting a brand new unit. In that case, it either came to the owner defective or they partially blew one of the speakers. It also didn't come with its USB-C. Cable. Whoever took in the return didn't actually look or test the product to give it a label of Open-Box Excellent.

JBL is great product. For portable music this has always done the perfect job!!!

Honestly, I love JBL speakers, and this one is so portable and ready to use. I gave it for a Christmas gift and they loved it. We took it out and used it immediately around the campfire during Christmas Eve.
