Was familiar with the brand and had heard the Flip5, so no surprises. Really like the different color options. This blue one will be mine. Bought my wife the bright green one. Very easy to set up Bluetooth connection. Sound quality and battery life are excellent.

I still have the Flip 5 and I don’t hear much of a difference but it is slightly better at handling sound on some songs at a higher volume while maintaining the bass, so I’m satisfied with it.

The item was NEVER delivered and Best Buy still has not provided a refund. The delivery company Roadie was absolutely terrible at providing any meaningful update of the status of the delivery and would only refer me back to Best Buy without any explanation of what happened to the item. I contacted Best Buy for a refund and I am still waiting for that refund, however my order status shows delivered and not refunded. Terrible online shopping experience and equally terrible experience online ordering/delivery from Best Buy.

It sounds terrible at all volumes and I have tried it on several different devices. No matter what I use it with it has a constant hiss/pop. This is the first time I have ever spent more than $30 on BT speaker and this is the worst one I have EVER had. I got it for a gift and it was only used it twice before the return date expired. So now Im stuck with this piece of junk it seems and I've tried every troubleshoot. Dont buy this or get it for a gift.

I have never had one break on me or had any troubles with one. They have great sound for their compact size. I keep this one in my beach bag I use to go to the beach or pool with.

I bought a "like new open box item" from bestbuy.com. When I had an issue with the item I returned it to JBL under the factory warranty. This was 6 months after I bought the item. JBL advised that the item as a counterfeit and returned it to me. Bestbuy in turn is REFUSING to offer anything, but tell me its outside of the 15 day return period. They sold a counterfeit item that was not discovered until the manufacturer tried to service it. Horrible customer service. BEWARE bestbuy will sell you a fake item and then do NOTHING to rectify their mistake. Will not be doing business with bestbuy in the future.

Not worth the money

I tried a new speaker and had the exact same issue.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback, if you're experiencing a crackling sound please try to connect the speaker on different source device to see if the unit or the source device is the problem. If the issue still persist try to reset the unit to factory default setting by
1. Turn on the speaker.
2. Press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than 3 seconds. Speaker will turn off, and reboot to factory default.
You may need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again.
If the issue persist please contact our customer support.
