The loudness is what you would expect from a small portable speaker. The JBL app works well and allows you to pair multiple speakers together at the same time. The battery life was a little low at first but once a firmware update was done through the app it helped out.

This would be an amazing product if the battery life wasnt soso very extremely short. I wanted to take this with me on my florida beaching vacation but it would be a waste of time due to the terrible battery life. I purchased a jbl megaboom 9 years ago and the battery lige 9n it is absolutely fantastic. I would not recommend this product unless you plan on using it where you have ready access to electricity, to keep it charged. Its ashame that something with that poor if quality costs sooo much money.

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit.
