We live near the beach so this speaker stays in our beach bag.

Got this for vacation and it was loud enough for us to hear even with the crashing waves but we could easily adjust the volume to not bother other people around us.

This is my fourth JBL product, fifth if you include the JBL sound system in my car. Never disappoints with the sound quality, both highs and lows no matter the volume level. I specifically bought this to keep in my golf bag to listen to tunes on the course. Again great speaker and you can’t go wrong.
