I'm an indie producer, so I generally appreciate any device or medium that provide the song in the way the producer wanted the song to jam. This has a nice flat response from what I'm able to hear verses the reference tracks I use in the studio. You really are hearing a lot of small instrumentation without EQ'ing. I've heard the 5, and they are voiced the same, but this has an additional tweeter so you can get those tasty mids and high mids, which are usually left in a blah place with portables. Long story short: independent music producer and multi-instrumentalist is quite happy with the product. I have a trained ear and these sound true to production. **I did order one Open Box - Excellent. 95% of the time, that savings is decent and you are essentially getting a brand new unit. In that case, it either came to the owner defective or they partially blew one of the speakers. It also didn't come with its USB-C. Cable. Whoever took in the return didn't actually look or test the product to give it a label of Open-Box Excellent.

This Bluetooth speaker has excellent base and easy connectivity. It will shut itself off after several hours so I do have it turn it back on to connect each day.

This product is amazing and sound quality is amazing. I love party mode on these devices and being able to connect other JBL speakers that offer this feature. Great for in door gatherings and game nights

Overall this speaker is good i was little pointed that it was a little smaller than what I expected but overall sounds pretty good not that loud but it's all right for the price
