This would be an amazing product if the battery life wasnt soso very extremely short. I wanted to take this with me on my florida beaching vacation but it would be a waste of time due to the terrible battery life. I purchased a jbl megaboom 9 years ago and the battery lige 9n it is absolutely fantastic. I would not recommend this product unless you plan on using it where you have ready access to electricity, to keep it charged. Its ashame that something with that poor if quality costs sooo much money.

If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. Are there better options out there? Definitely - for someone - but for us this little guy is hard to beat. Liking this so much we are considering buying another one.

Adding the JBL app allows you to control bass, mid, and treble levels but their default setting is already excellent. I'm very pleased as this affordable purchase solves getting music out to my porch easily. Happy to say it's doing a great job of holding a charge as well. I don't use it every day, but it's been almost a month and I haven't had to charge it yet.

They sounded great and the “Partyboost” made all 3 play at the same time. The music got slightly less loud over time and stopped after 5 1/2 hours. Overall they were just what I needed. Just note the battery life estimates are probably at low volume.
