The speaker is pretty loud. I work in a loud environment and I can still hear it over most noises, especially if I’m within about 20-25 feet.

Good sound quality and volume for the cost. Portable and holds a charge well. Bluetooth connectivity is easy every time.

Amazing sound and volume for such a small portable speaker

Absolutely superior, portable speaker. The smaller size makes this speaker even more portable its competition, yet it had a comparable if not superior sound to the larger size portables.

This speaker is quite amazing. The impact of the sound is something you’d expect from something “bigger”. And the other amazing thing is the linking of several of these has an omnipresent effect. Definitely recommended!

I love JBL over most speaker brands. It’s very crisp quality and their products last forever. I upgraded from a Flip 4 and NO REGRETS it sounds incredible compared to the Flip 4 plus the Flips can get REALLY LOUD which I love.

The JBL FLIP series is superlative to all other similar sized speakers. The sound is far superior, and it is built well. Compact and solid. I have bought several in the flip series for other people as gifts after I discovered how happy I am with mine. I still use my FLIP 4.

Easy set up and great sound. Battery last a long time

I was comparing it to the wonderboom (smaller size) and this had more clarity throughout songs yet still louder. I wanted something for cooking or cleaning around the house, while being about $100 or less and this was perfect!

Used primarily as a golf cart speaker. Fits perfectly in cup holder. Good sound and bass. Battery life gets me through a couple of rounds at least. Also use outside on the patio. Fits my needs well.

As always, another high quality speaker by JBL. Excellent sound quality, easy pairing, love this speaker! Only issue for me is the battery life could be longer but I can say that about most devices.

Amazing sound quality, and the shape and size make it super convenient for travel. The quality of this speaker and JBL's products as a whole, in my experience, have always been excellent.

I think for the price (especially if you get on sale) is very good. It’s loud for small parties, gatherings, the beach or even camping. Make sure you use the jbl app to play with the bass and trebble which allows deeper sounds to come through. I will see though if you look to buy this for gatherings or events that have more than 30 people then go the next one up or buy two of these since you can pair them and have them on separate sides make it a fuller sound.

Sound is excellent at this price point for a portable blue tooth unit of this size. The sound is clear, clean and dynamic. You can take this unit anywhere and you will not be disappointed with sound quality. The JBL App to tailor your music taste is a nice and useful feature.

Works well, attaches to Bluetooth consistently, and sounds great. I realize now I would've liked a 3.5mm jack which is the only reason I subtracted a star.

This speaker is phenomenal. Waterproof was the main thing I was looking for since I go to the beach often. The battery life is enough to last all day at the beach and I mean ALL DAY. The fact that I can link more than one of these for the spatial audio is also a very cool feature.

This speaker plays very loud and the sound is more than impressive. Although I have another JBL it’s smaller but I have always been impressed with the quality of this brand of speaker.

No better option for a compact, loud, waterproof speaker. Bought is for my mother as a gift. She’s in love with her red JBL speaker.
