I’m not sure if the issue is with the speaker or with the Spotify app. However, I’ve had this problem several times, and even when switching apps (Apple Music and YouTube), the same issue happens.

Sure, it is on the cheap end $ wise but I also don’t want to spend a ton on a speaker when speakers aren’t anything new in the device world. Keep in mind that I’ve owned some great JBL speakers. This little thing doesn’t produce near the volume nor the equalized sound I expected from JBL, especially, and wondering, with the rave reviews here. I didn’t near get what these reviewers claim. The bass is overkill and the battery life well less than what’s raved about. I have to plug this thing in almost daily when my last JBL needed charging maybe once a month. I should have spent the extra $100. But I have bills to pay.

I wish I could return and exchange it for a different portable speaker but apparently this one had a narrow return window. I didn’t realize some items from Best Buy have different return windows; now I know. I regret this purchase.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback on our JBL Go 4. To isolate the issue, please check the Equalizer (EQ) settings. If it is off, try turning it on and adjust the bass a little bit. If not, please turn it off. We also recommend connecting your headphones to another source device to know if it is a problem with the device. If you need more help, please contact us.
