Posted .Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Go 3 has an IP67 rating, which means it is waterproof and dustproof. If your speaker keeps turning off, initiate power cycle. To do this, with the unit unplugged, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to see if the unit will unlock. You may also try a different cable or adapter, or test on another wall outlet. Lastly, reset the speaker by pressing and holding "Volume +" and "Bluetooth" for more than 10 seconds. For the volume issue, if you have already maximized the volume levels on both your source device and the speaker itself and still find the loudness insufficient, you can use your device's media player app to enhance the volume levels of specific frequencies in the audio signal.
