Not a very smart speaker

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since purchasing this speaker, I've encountered problems with it's smart features--not wanting to connect to Google Home. I received a replacement from JBL towards the end of my warranty period (at least they were responsive!); however, the replacement speaker was worse than the original. The power and mute buttons eventually stopped functioning (my speaker got stuck on mute!), the smart functions stopped working and now it is utterly useless. Since JBL does not apply warranty to replaced items outside of the warranty period of the initial purchase, they basically gave me a defective replacement and won't do anything about it now. Go with another brand's smart speaker; otherwise, just get a regular bluetooth speaker.
