Completely stopped working after 1 month
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Invest your money elsewhere if you’re looking for any kind of Bluetooth or smart speaker. After one month, the sound became muffled, then it completely stopped working all together. It will not charge and will not turn on. I brought it back to Best Buy and was told that they cannot accept returns on JBL, the claim has to be processed through them. (I am Elite Plus and have a 45 day return policy but apparently this didn’t apply to JBL products). After more than a week, I am STILL trying to get JBL to process a warranty claim on this now $150.00 paper weight. They keep replying with emails on how to troubleshoot the speaker rather than processing a claim. I clearly stated in my claim (which asks for details about the issue) the methods I used to troubleshoot and still I have been sent emails that feel as though they are automatically generated to postpone the warranty and possibly discourage the claim. Hey, JBL!!!!! HOW ABOUT STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCTS!!!!!!!! This will be the last JBL product I EVER purchase. They are a division of Harmon, which produces other brands as well...such as Harmon Kardon and Infinity. I’ll be sure to stay away from all three and I’d suggest you do the same. If you want a Bluetooth speaker with google assistant, get a Sony LF-S50G.
