I bought them due to some good reviews, a good sale, and assurances they have a 3.5mm headphone port. The latter is not true. They have a 2.5mm (or thereabouts) port with an included cable that adapts it to 3.5mm. This made them 100% useless for my application, so back to Best Buy they go. Aside from that, despite reviews I found the earcups to be substantially smaller than expected and the fit tight to the point of being mildly uncomfortable. Not sure if JBL is all hype at this point or I'm just not their target audience.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this because the Live500BT are really solid headphones, durable with good sound, the Live650NC has better sound and it supposed to be better than the Live 650, the noise cancelling on the Live 660NC affect musoc a little bit but that wasn't my problem, it felt like suction cups on my ears, a really unpleasant feeling, the ambient sound is also bad, I got them for $100 and still wasn't worth it, the SKULLCANDY HESH ANC has awesome Noise Cancelling and Natural Ambient mode with good sound, get those instead of these.

I rdecided to eturn them because they didn't cover my ears very well and the noise cancelling wasn't as good. Ended up ordering Bose QuietComfort 35 IIs instead.

Really not close. I took these on the plane expecting them to be noise canceling as advertised. They didn’t do the job. I wasn’t expecting complete silence but I wasn’t expecting to still hear the sounds around me competing for my attention. They are also uncomfortable if you have a larger head/ears. I wear 7/1/4 hat so you can have an idea. Overall disappointed in this purchase. My suggestion is to spend a little more and go Bose!! My old Bose headphones blew these out of the water.

I do wish the automatic pairing was a little smoother when I switch between different paired devices but the experience is amazing anyway. Sound quality is fantastic to my ears as well!
