The sound quality is ok. Fits better if you have a larger head but not a snug fit for an avg person. The plastic chipped early within months. I preferred the model before as it lasted longer. Lately they have started to make a very loud noise out of nowhere so I'm assuming they're starting to have a wiring issue. Glad I got the warranty bc they have to go!

BBUY GOOFED

I had talked at great length with an agent to be assured by her that these would be fine with our new tv. This new LG tv has no rca connections, and few hdmi... All good, I thought. My husband is disabled, and sleeps in his recliner with the tv on all night. Headphones are essentisl so the rest of the house gets rest. 2 sets of Sony headphones worked well, just did not last long. We were hopeful that these JBLs would be better. They have skipped and cut out ever since received, and we did not know until I called JBL that they were designed for PORABLE things only...NOT TVs. Best Buy screwed up, and will not take them back. JBL won't help. On top of this I spent hours on the phone over 2 days trying to get satisfaction... no returning, no discount possible for a reorder! And was cut off 10 times! The main complaint number is a computer nightmare. And no two parts will work together. No one at BBuy will just fkn place a new order for me with a decent discount to cover their goof up!

Totally falling apart in less than a year

I absolutely loved my previous JBL headphones and their portable speakers but these are garbage. Hasn't even been a year. If you move your head quickly to the left or right, the speaker cracks and gets fuzzy like there's something wrong internally, AND tiny plastic pieces have been falling off of it which is super dangerous and annoying. I tried chatting with someone to see if I could get a refund or a replacement but they made it nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone. I'm so bummed out because I had high expectations. :(

I've used tons of headphones and have never seen this problem on any others. Also it wasnt just a 1 off set either, I noticed the problem soon after buying them so I exchanged it for another of the same model and the replacement had the same issue. Jbl speakers have always been top notch, audiophile grade in my book but these headphones were a big letdown. Idk if they outsource their headphones but this isnt the quality ive come to expect as a long time user of JBL speakers.

Posted .Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If connected via Audio Cable, try using a different audio/aux cable. Check for any damages on the wire. If connected via BT, make sure the LED indicator shows successful pairing via BT (BASIC PAIRING). Make sure the volume control is turned up and the unit is not on mute. Make sure Headset/Speaker are sufficiently charged. Restart devices and unpair them to refresh the connection. Try using a different music app (iTunes, YouTube, Spotify, etc.). If using an equalizer, please set it to default mode or turn it off. Try using a different Source Device (Laptop/PC/Tablet/Smartphone). Check if there are any physical damage/s to the headset unit. Make sure the device is not near any cause of interference such as other wireless/BT devices. Perform a reset. If the issue persists, please contact customer service at https://bit.ly/3AGzNfD
