Easy to set up. The Arc HDMI feature is very nice.

The 310 is the basic model and does pretty well as far as amplifying the sound from my TV. I was told when I purchased it that it had a radio tuner built in as well. If that is truly the case, I can't figure out how to use it. I also installed the apps on my phone to adjust the sounds however, when I try to use the apps, apparently they're for the 510 and higher models, not the 310. That just seems dumb. As for the price, I think $400 is steep for what I purchased and the limitations it has. If I want to do more, I needed to buy the 510 or higher but that's an additional cost of $200 more! The system works and does what I need but to get the extras, I needed to spend quite a bit more and I dont know if its worth the extra costs.

This receiver covers all the basics, offering Bluetooth along with multiple audio and video inputs. Where it falls short is network connectivity, such as AirPlay and Google Cast support. Overall, it’s a great unit—especially considering the limited research I did upfront and that this was my first stereo receiver purchase.

Needed upgrade to connect a set of Klipsch KG4s to new Sony Bravia 8 OLED tv. This works. Bluetooth capabilities also a plus. Excellent sound for the price.

Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the fact that it doesn’t keep the settings each time you turn it off/on. Otherwise a very nice unit for the price

The MA310 is a good unit but not great. It lacks a lot of basic features compared to another budget friendly receiver such as wifi, airplay and chromecast. It is somewhat easy to setup. You do have to navigate through the receiver's display to do any setting changes. Manual states there is a basic OSD but I was never able to get this display on my TV. Soundwise, it's great. I have it pair to a couple Klipsch outdoor speakers and it can get loud. For an elaborate setup, it's doable but if you're looking for ease of use to connect to any connected service, look at different receiver or step up to the MA510/710. I would say this is great alternative if you don't want a soundbar or setting up an outdoor patio.

solid power for small to medium rooms. It handles movies and music well, offers 4K HDMI and Bluetooth, and pairs best with bookshelf speakers, though adding a subwoofer gives it fuller bass.

excellent amp very warm sound .. dialogue enhancer runs well it brings out vocals in the quiet parts of movies the alternate speaker modes and surround modes make it easy to match the listening mode you need for said content

I was a little skeptical with purchasing an open box item , But with Best Buy they made it painless and easy and I’m 100% satisfied with my choice. The JBL ma310 was the perfect replacement in the den for a Denon 5.1 that channels mysteriously started fading in and out until nothing. Quick and easy to setup , Simplified connections and user friendly controls make this receiver and the upgraded models my choice now and in the future.

Very good entry level/budget receiver. Does what it needs to do well. Don’t expect it to have the advanced features (WiFi, etc.) that the higher priced options provide.

Like the looks the function is good. It was a little difficult to set up for speaker functions and no documentation to speak of.

I am very pleased with my radio receiver from Best Buy. The sound is clear and appealing in comparison to my previous tuner which was a 60 year old family hand me down. I'm so glad I went to Best Buy to purchase my new equipment.

Used this to replace a 20 year old receiver. Sound quality is good and setup was fairly uneventful.

Setup was a easy. There was not a lot of configuration available, which might be good for a beginner. But I wanted a bit more features.
