The phone app is great, powers on/off from my phone at a long distance from party box. Phone app offers everything that is on the party box and is great. Party box stays on our covered patio year-round with no issues.

I purchased this speaker to replace a $40 speaker for my projector/record player. This will do far more beyond my immediate needs though. It is LOUD, boomin, and clear. I love the controls within the JBL app too. It’s a little larger and heavier than I anticipated from watching YouTube videos but I purchased during Black Friday while it was $150 off. I’m happy with this purchase.

While plugged in I get about 94 decibel reading. The sound quality is perfect. I want to buy the party box Ultimate now. I'll be pulling the trigger soon.
