My wife wanted a portable speaker with easy microphone connectivity for karaoke. This speaker serves that purpose. It's very easy to connect any device to it for bluetooth playback. The JBL app to control the lights is also a nice touch.

I bought a smaller JBL speaker years ago and it worked real well for 4-5 years. Since then my family and I became JBL fans. I have had this speaker a little over a year now and it works like new. We love it!

Bought this open box and it said excellent etc. but the lights do not work. Best buy gave me an additional discount for the misrepresentation and the sound quality is still great. Overall very happy with the speaker

Went to go purchase a Bose speaker but I stumbled upon this JBL speaker and it was the last one, loud if this is what you are looking for quality loud sound this is it.

Really good sound for a speaker within this price point. I wish it had the option to connect with other JBL speakers in the non-partybox model lineup, but otherwise it has great balance and volume.

Gets loud and the bass boost have two levels with the second level getting very boomy. My wife used this speaker for a 50 person zumba event and it was plenty loud enough for the event. Great purchase, might even get a second one we like it so much

Sound quality is great, i have yet to test battery life as i have only used it a couple hours at a time. The only thing is, i wish it would have came with a Mic, have not seen many otpions for after market wireless mics online.
