This a solid speaker for use when at a pool party or park. Battery life is sufficient for a good time and the set up with app is easy and straight forward. The sound gemerated from the speaker is good quality; the lights and sound effects are a little silly but still fun.

We needed a speaker for backyard parties this year. The reviews were great for this speaker so decided to give it a try. The reviews were not fake lol The speaker is so freakin' loud AND has clean deep bass. My neighbors are going to hate us but hey it's the year after a pandemic that prevented friends and family from coming over all of last summer.... It may be worth a noise violation this year! LOL

Love the sound, bass and just the ease of use. It is definitely a must buy.

This speaker sounds amazing. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons. First, when you pick it up by the handle, you scrape the bottom front of this speaker on the ground. It’s almost like the handle should be up front so that it leans back on the wheels when you lift it. The other reason is that it can only pair with other Partyboxes instead of all the JBL Bluetooth speakers. The three DJ buttons are goofy and I don’t see the need. It would be nice if you could program them to other actions besides making sounds.

Its the largest party box that does not have to be plugged in all the time to work, has a long lasting battery and still had great sound from battery power. 10/10 would buy a second one to pair with.

Powerful all-around sound. Bass thumps and mid/highs are great indoor or outdoor. Runs plugged in or unplugged, only losing a little power unplugged- you won’t really notice because it still punches. Battery power is 10/10. Adjustable lighting kicks it up a notch.

Excellent battery life, beautiful sound and really loud for a portable Bluetooth speaker. The pairing option is so cool. We use it when we’re camping. Have several friends with them and we link them all together. The sound quality is amazing!

So I'm going to start this review with straight honesty, and the honest truth is I've been checking this JBL speaker line out since the party box 100. Best Buy is my favorite store so I spend an adequate amount of time in there testing out the demos, and when I did, I've opted for other bluetooth speakers in the past. I've purchased many JBL products mainly in the form of headphones and Earbuds, but something inside compelled me to finally take a chance and purchase this speaker. when I say that the in store demo does this speaker ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTICE, I mean, it in every aspect of that statement. It's going to be very hard to find a bluetooth speaker that sounds better than this one. JBL has always had clear pristine mids and highs meaning you're going to hear the instruments in your favorite music as well as vocals crystal clear. But the way JBL was able to execute the bass in this speaker is amazing❗️The fact that you have two bass options (that actually work) is a marvel in itself. The punchy base feature gives you a strong but not over bearing experience while the DEEP bass option gives a deep, robust, but rich experience. The LED light feature only adds to the allure of the speaker. And it also has a couple cool Dj-ish features in the JBL app. It also pairs wirelessly with other JBL party box speakers to add to the party with the simple push of a button. I even bought a couple wireless mics from Amazon to use with this speaker and they work great. Ok...I can tell you a million great things about this speaker, but let's be honest, the only way you're really gonna find out how good of a speaker it is is if you purchase one yourself. I can almost guarantee you'll think of this review, say to yourself "He was so right" and smile.

This is why i always buy JBL got my car system decked out in JBL an now this speaker for the BBQ's. The bass is so amazing ive never had to turn it up past half way an the vocals an instrumentals are so clear im finding new beats in songs ive listen to a hundred times an never known it was there. For sure worth it plus its got options to plug in a mic and some dj effects buttons

The bass for this speaker is great and very punchy. It has a good sound balance but definitely amazing for bass heads. This thing is loud! Perfect for a backyard party. My only complaint is that depending on the song, the vocals can sound a bit static at its highest volume if playing indoors, but it rarely happens and can be fixed easily with the equalizer on the app (it might just also vary on the room acoustics). I definitely recommend for anyone who likes edm, reggaeton, or Mexican music.

Hadnt bought a mobile speaker in a while and I am glad I chose this product. Clarity even when volume is close to max and can be heard at a distance. Price point for this product is great.
