This speaker rocks Indoors or outside the JBL 310 has plenty of volume, best part is it’s battery power Lasting me over 12 hours at 3/4 volume! Definitely happy with this purchase!

The page says that there is an open box speaker for sale. I put all my information in and my credit card submitted. They sent me an order number and then five minutes later I get a cancellation. I have to wait on the phone for 30 minutes to have them tell me it’s unavailable but it stays on the website for a day after someone buys it.

I initially had an LG RK7 which had significant issues with the Bluetooth module, and ultimately it failed one day and stopped working (was only two years old). I didn’t want a direct replacement because one, it was plug-in only and I realized that wasn’t the best choice overall since you’re limited to positioning the speaker against an outlet and two, you couldn’t really use it outside. We had a gender reveal upcoming and needed another party speaker (we just love loud music and karaoke with everything we do) and came across the partybox 310 - WOW! Way easier to setup than my other large speaker, it has wheels and a handle so moving it was simple, it has lights which are a gimmick but adds to the immersion, and has some great microphone features! My other speaker had a mic input but no mixer, so we have a mic mixer that allows for audio but then limited the ability to sing and use the mic while playing music easily. You can add reverb/echo to the mic and have subtle tuning on voice sound EQ. This allows you to prevent voices from sounding so tinny. In terms of the audio quality, it’s fantastic! Of course it’s boomingly loud, but the sound retains quality even at high volumes! There are various bass effects to make it punchier or heavier so whatever you’re listening to sounds amazing. We listen to a variety of music: hip hop, EDM, trap, rock, (and lots of Bad Bunny) etc - I even use the speaker bluetoothed to my Peloton to add a better experience to riding. The battery life is great, I mean you can play it in a medium sized patty room or community room at ~50% volume for HOURS AND HOURS, probably all day long. It’s also great that it’s a little weather resistant so outdoor use is encouraged and fun! There’s other features that I’m interested in, like the PA speaker stand setup to get the speaker off the ground which may improve both fidelity and distance the speaker reaches, as well as connecting multiple speakers together. It is a steep price, but it’s 100% worth it for the fidelity, usefulness and battery life, especially if you love hosting parties or having music envelope your surrounding! 10/10 would purchase it again.

I got a wrong speaker, dont take the risk, support isn’t taking care

I received this from JBL and this is the best speaker I've ever owned. Extreme bass that can be adjusted how you like. You can feel the bass even 200 feet away. Great for outdoor/garage birthday parties, cookouts, events, etc. Amazing quality and very tough, nice buttons and ports. The app also works flawlessly and very fast/responsive. The lights effects aren't 'too much' to be annoying and if you don't want them you can turn them off. Very, very, very loud speaker and amazing sound overall.

I’ve had the 310 for about 6 weeks now and have used it in my office, garage and outdoors. It’s on the heavier side, however the carrying handle conveniently pops up and you can tilt it back to roll wherever you need it. I originally purchased for an outdoor event with approximately 70 people and was concerned that one speaker wouldn’t be enough. Although two speakers will obviously deliver better sound, it wasn’t necessary for my needs and using one speaker was more than enough. I didn’t notice any issues with clarity while using a microphone with it and didn’t need to adjust any of the settings. Music sound quality was much better than I expected and there was no distortion at higher volumes. This thing has some serious volume and has the potential to wake your neighbors if you’re using it in your back yard. Battery life is great. I’ve listened to it on quarter/half volume for days without needing to charge it. The lights on the front are customizable in the app or they can be turned off. I’m fairly picky when it comes to sound quality whether it’s headphones, car audio or home theatre and having a good speaker for entertaining is just as important to me. Overall, I think the 310 is the best speaker in this price range especially if you can get it on sale.

The JBL - PartyBox 310 produces excellent sound and volume. Also, the speaker produces a good amount of bass. Although the speaker is a bit heavy, the built-in handle and wheels make it easier to move around. I had no trouble connecting my Samsung phone and tablet to the speaker with Bluetooth. Furthermore, the TWS mode works well to sync multiple Partybox speakers together. My first road test was during Mardi Gras 2024 where I brought the system to a friends house for a party. The battery lasted about 10 hours and we were pushing the speaker pretty hard alnight. Once the battery ran low, I plugged the unit into an AC outlet and kept the party going. Overall, the JBL - PartyBox 310 exceeded my expectations, and I am very pleased with its performance.

As a frequent party host, the JBL PartyBox 310 has been a fantastic addition to my gatherings. The sound is powerful with deep bass, and the light show creates a vibrant atmosphere. You cannot go wrong with this speaker! It'll take your ears to pound town! The bass is deep and the max volume supercedes Sony by miles( when not plugged in). At max volume, with the bass boost on, you'll get about 5 hours of battery time.

I needed a portable speaker that can be moved around instantly from one spot to another any place and anytime. This speaker is perfect. The sound is super loud and has very nice bass. So far, one charge the party box lasted more than 10 hours. Added 2 mics and we were doing karaoke, the sound was clean and crisp when turn up volume to loud. No distortion or lagging. Very good investment.

Best speaker for the buck. Excellent sound and very simple to use with the app. Loud enough for concerts and parties. I bought two of these with the jbl stands and the sound is even better when the speakers are mounted 5ft above the ground. Best part is you can sync both speakers together to play the same song. You can sync up to 99 speakers if im not mistaken. Also you have 18 hrs of battery running time on the speaker so you can jam all night long. The lighting on the front is pretty cool and you can select different combos of how the lights work. Great bass and also has mic hookups for addressing a crowd or letting them know how bad of a singer a person is. Regardless of what youre you using the speaker for, you cannot go wrong.

Very impressive, deep, crisp, clean sound. Solid build quality. The bass will surprise you. It’s louder when plugged into AC power, but still plenty of bump in the tank on battery power. I’ve never once had an issue with battery life - even when intentionally trying to run it dead, it just kept on playing (until I finally gave up and went to bed). I honestly have no idea how long it lasts; at 50% volume [just enough to feel it but not enough to force everyone to yell over it] it will last a full funday, guaranteed. I have a rather picky ear [audiophile] so over the past 3 years I’ve tried at least 17 name brand portable bluetooth speakers in the $500-1K range and, my final judgment is this -- aside from an $1100 Soundboks3, this Partybox310 is the biggest [and loudest] bang for your buck. Hands down. (Mine was $430 on sale in 2020) If you can afford it, I also recommend buying a pair. Two of these running in TWS/Stereo mode sound incredible for a battery powered set priced at a grand. (Or even less when marked down on sale - hold out for Black Friday and order online) A few complaints to mention: 1.) It could be more rugged/durable. The casing is hard plastic and likely to scratch easy. Bigger rubber corner bumpers or feet would’ve gone a long way. It also likes to roll around in the back of the Escalade unless deliberately secured. Trust me, this big brute can do some damage if you take a couple hard turns. -__- 2.) The previous model (Partybox300) had a third tweeter allowing it to play in stereo mode when turned horizontal. This new 310 model does NOT have the third tweeter and thus, is mono-only. You would have to use a second 310 unit connected in TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode in order to achieve stereo L+R sound. Or, use Line-in and an equalizer/amp to separate the L and R channels. It still sounds great in MONO, but who wouldn’t prefer an option for STEREO… plus, this speaker is just big enough that I wouldn’t want to always lug around 2 of them, and small enough to make one speaker well worth it’s while. Note: The 3.5mm line-out will work with a second speaker when playing via bluetooth input. (both in mono) (yes, even on battery) 3.) A small built-in storage slot for the power cord would’ve warranted significant bonus points. I always worry it will get lost or forgotten. I’m planning on buying one of the JBL “transport bags” to keep everything better organized and protected. (JBLPARTYBOX200300-BAG) 4.) I expected the BASS and TREBLE buttons on the top of the unit would adjust the sound when playing via bluetooth or line-in. WRONG. Those buttons on the top only work with the MIC/Guitar 1/4 inch inputs on the back. (I should’ve known with the ECHO button right beside them…) Oh, and the app is alright. It’s good. Definitely better than Sony’s garbage setup. All said and done, I would highly recommend the JBL Partybox 310 to anyone looking for a “whatasized” portable speaker, and vouch that it is worth it’s price tag. If you’re on the fence, go buy one. You can always return it… but I bet you won’t. ;) I hope this was a helpful use of my time for someone out there. Currently (Aug 2021) there are no other reviews and it’s showing Sold Out on Best Buy. Smaller alternative - check out the new Partybox 110. Crank it loud and God bless. ✌️ DK

I am very impressed with its sound quality, size, and easy-to-use features. This is what I was looking for. Strong wheels are mobile and the considerable advantage is the battery backup. I guess it's 12 or 18 hours but even no one is going to use it continuously for 12 hours and that's more than sufficient battery backup for small parties and spending time outdoors with friends and family having fun with this masterpiece.

Absolutely Fantastic sounds , It sounds really good, bass thumps really hard. i use this for car shows and general purpose. The speaker stand mount on the bottom is nice for when its outside so it can reach further. Battery life is amazing, will play for hours. sure its a little heavy but the wheels and the retractable handle make it a breeze to pull with you.

This speaker completely exceeded my expectations. The sound is extremely powerful, with deep bass and crystal-clear highs even at full volume. I use it for parties, gatherings and even just around the house, and it fills the room easily without any distortion. The battery life is great and the LED lights make the whole experience even better. If you want something loud, clean and reliable, this speaker is totally worth the price. One of the best purchases I’ve made at Best Buy!
