The 310 is a good basic portable speaker . It can handle most music but struggles to keep up with just about any song that has both bass and heavy mids, especially distortion. If you want an easily portable speaker that gets the job done on the go, it works. If you listen to a lot of rock, early Motown and some others, it’s a roll of the dice if you can get volume over 50% without speakers starting to distort. Also, one speaker kinda stinks, if you’ve listened to large home stereos you’ll want two. Again, there’s a lot it can’t produce on its own, that includes music that was written with stereo or room acoustics in mind. So, if you’re expecting true stereo you’ll be disappointed.

Id say 4.5 stars is a more detailed rating. Overall it is an excellent speaker. My only slightly negative comment is that the battery could last a little bit longer, besides that it's outstanding.

I compare the speaker with another brands, and for me the JBL 310 is the best.BUT WHAT I REALLY DON’T LIKE IS I PURCHASE THE SPEAKER AFTER 2 WEEKS IT WHEND DOWN $200 NO FAIR

If you’re a fan of some hard hitting bass, you’ll love this speaker. I use it for almost everything, even when I play the guitar. Its worth every penny, especially since you can sync multiple speakers together.

This is the second JBL 310 speaker I have purchased and I am highly pleased. I’m not sure how long the battery life is on these speakers but I have never had them die on me yet. Great speaker!

This speaker was a lot bigger than I pictured it being. Which for me was amazing. The wheels kinda suck but that has nothing to do with best buy.

Absolutely incredible. Loud deep and full sound. Have yet to turn it up to max. My kids love the 3 DJ buttons, which you can adjust in the app. Totally worth the wait and money to get one
