For being a battery portable speaker the bass is really good, the JBL PartyBox app makes the experience better. AURACAST lets you quickly link other JBL compatible speakers. The speaker is about 68 pounds but it holds its weight for its performance and cordless capability. It does have wheels to roll it. The bass will make the walls shake. I got the JBL Microphones and it can bring a party to life. The microphone has its separate volume controls/bass/treble/echo. The speaker is plenty for a house party. I am happy with it’s performance that I DESPERATELY want a second one to link them both TOGETHER! I also tested the speaker in the trunk of my minivan ! NICE DEEP THUMPING BASS! I got it for my birthday and everyone loved the speaker !

I purchased the JBL PartyBox 720 from Best Buy, and I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the shopping experience. The speaker itself is absolutely amazing. Owned two Party box 320s paired before and sold them awaiting the release of the 720. Definitely worth it, the 800 W of power and bass is insane. Got a deal with the Black Friday deal for $799 so it was a great score. I was indecisive betwwen the SoundBoks 4, Bummpboxx Freestyle Pro and the 720. JBL just delivers all the time, from my car’s sound system to the small clip speakers the sound is always top tier. Only downside is the speaker is a little over 70 lbs so if you dont lift you might need a hand.

I’ve owned many of the JBL PartyBox speakers and this one by far sounds the best. The bass is tight and defined, the mids are clear, a little thin, and the highs are clean, airing on the dark side. I like the battery option and coming with 2 removable batteries is a nice feature. I have listened to it for many hours and it still puts a smile on my face with the sound it puts out.

If you're like me and want the loudest speaker that also has the ability to be run without being plugged in, THIS is the speaker for you. It is terrifyingly loud at 50%+ volume. Clarity is solid, bass is wild, no distortion even at full volume - which, by the way, will damage your hearing and peel paint off your walls. Other notable features, it's got cool lighting that responds to the music, the batteries are swappable, you can use wireless mics for karaoke, it has wheels to move around fairly easily. But, this thing is a beast, it is a party speaker in every sense of the term. Weighing almost 70 pounds, it's not what you'd call "portable" but the wheels are robust and help with moving around the house or wherever you have this monster setup. If your brain is telling you this is too much speaker for your home for regular use, your brain is correct. BUT, don't let that stop you. This speaker is ridiculous in all the greatest ways. Just buy it and have fun.

very amazing speaker, soon as you turn it on you get greeted with the BASS, turn up the music about 30-40% you’d think that would be the max loll but nope you could turn this thing up some more! Love it

This speaker is absolutely the coolest! I bought it to bring to tailgating for my son's college football games and was concerned it might not be loud enough.. BUT I was wrong and this thing just thumps and is super clear, looking forward to using this for those events and many other things. Very pleased with my purchase and best of all I got it on sale! OH yeah, the water in the dogs dish was vibrating from the gravitational BASS!

This speaker is pretty nice, cool lightshow, its got nice bass as well ae sound quality, would probably end up buying this again if i can. Oh, for those who like jbl as well this speaker gets to like 110-116 dB peak.

It exceeded my expectations. Excellent sound quality. The lighting design looks very nice, especially at night.

All around this speaker is definitely worth the hype. I purchased this for hosting minor events but ended up with way more than i needed. Definitely loud enough for whatever you may be planning. A definite buy.... Also works great with the karaoke microphone.

If you want to shake your entire house with good bass this is the product you want! Great volume for the mic as well!

If you're wondering between these and the ultimates they're not even the same category. The Treble gets So screechingly high even if you turn it down on the equalizer you will hurt your ears before any bass can be achieved. I have 3 Ultimates and just 1 ultimate alone sounds better than 2 720s. The bass is also not as deep or powerful. Mid range is not compensated with the two small tweeters. Very cool portability feature but thats the ONLY thing these have going for them compared to just getting a single Ultimate.
