Called Jb, they said to go to BB. Drive 30+ minutes to BB, they say there is nothing that can be done. Drive 30+ minutes home talking to JB more than my travel time. I was told to send back. That I won’t be charged for a box by ups since we no longer have original packaging. Had to pay $20 for box.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL PartyBox Club 120 has up-to 12 hours of maximum playtime. This depends on the volume and the music that you play. The same as when you brighten the screen of your phone, the battery playtime will be reduced when you turn up the volume, have more bass, and use the party lights at the same time. It is possible that the battery is working fine, but depletes more quickly at full volume while the party lights are on. If your speaker lasts close to 12 hours after charging it to 100%, at low volume and without bass boost, the battery works correctly. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support.

I purchased this because I needed something bigger and louder than my older JBL Pulse for listening to music. That said, my wife also wanted something we could use to do karaoke at family events, so I also purchased the JBL wireless microphone 2-pack, which is designed to work with the party box series. You can adjust the mic gain and levels, and they sound great with this speaker. It could also be used for PA and / or with a mic and guitar at the same time since it has independent input volumes for both inputs. This speaker sounds fantastic, and is still light enough and small enough to be transported without being a hassle. The bass is big, solid, and tight, and the high end sounds crystal clear and sharp. I also love the fact that this has a swappable battery, in case I need more play time or I need to replace the battery itself down the road. Lastly, I didn't know how I'd feel about all the lights, but after getting it home and playing with the light settings on the app, the lights really are a fun, cool, and beautiful feature too. Super glad that I spent the money on this model and I highly recommend it!
