Nice but not the best sound quality for the size of the box. Doesn’t get that loud. The cubes seems louder than this product. Also battery is trash! Doesn’t hold a charge at all. About 1.5-2hrs when on max volume

You’d be wise to steer clear if any JBL/HK product. Ive owned 2 dozen over 10 years because I work in the industry and it benefits me to know exactly how the device behaves. THIS IS YET ANOTHER JBL/HK PRODUCT THAT WILL SELF DISTRUCT LONG BEFORE YOU WEAR IT OUT!!!!!! If you leave the device unplugged for an extended amout of time (like a few months) it might not ever wake up. I have a good assumption as to why this happens. I have a feeling they used 18650 cells that had built in BMS and then they have their own BMS in the speaker. I have a feeling that if the voltage drops too low on the cells they shut off and then the JBL BMS doesn’t work because you can NOT power the speaker directly from AC and therefore the device is bricked. The solution to the problem just further backs my theory because the solution is too rip the thing apart bull the batteries and charge them with an external charger. ||| MOST OF MY JBL/HK SPEAKERS HAVE FAILED |||. The HK Astra is Alexa enabled and they didnt keep up with firmware updates so the Alexa intefration eventually stopped working completely. But thats not the only issue. After a firmware update you can no longer manually pair pair with the BT icon. My JBL Extreme was destroyed by a firmware update that just obnoxiously increases the bass. Im sure this was done to draw attention to the floor models but it makes the speaker useless indoors. They should just let you EASILY switch. There is a difficult way to temporarily disable the bass boost but you have to do it every time you turn the device on and its not a simple button. All of my JBL Link speakers stopped working correctly because they are not keeping up on the Google Home changes. I only have (2) speakers that havent failed. Both of them are JBL flips. Be mindful of this when you buy JBL/HK smart products.

It works for small gatherings, this didnt come with i structions on how to setup all connections. Just have it as a standalone karaoke- bluetooth music and microphone.
