I recently purchased a renewed JBL Partybox 320, hoping to score a good deal, but instead, I got a frustrating experience. The speaker was missing a crucial component — the battery — which costs an additional $100 to replace. To make matters worse, the store only discounted the speaker by $50 from the price of a brand-new unit. So essentially, I’m paying more than retail when factoring in the battery cost. When I picked it up, I specifically asked the employee if anything was wrong with the speaker besides the visible dents. He assured me it was fully functional with no other issues. Clearly, that wasn’t the case. A speaker like this is meant for portability, so selling it without a battery and failing to disclose that feels misleading. The sound quality is solid (as expected from JBL), but this experience left a sour taste. If you’re considering a refurbished model, double-check every component because you might end up overpaying like I did.

The speaker is fine. Our issues is the volume control is managed by the device connected to the speaker. You cannot get the most out of the speaker this way. Do not buy if you want to adjust the volume on the speaker itself. For example, if you connect s laptop, the speaker will only go as loud as the laptop. Frustrating when you are trying to do things outdoors. Phones are fine as they have a larger volume range.

Very nice speaker, loud and super clear audio. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t skip, pause or repeat a song with the speaker you have to use your Bluetooth device to do that stuff

The specs say the battery has a lifespan of 18 hours. I tested it and the battery only lasted 4 hours. I had to return it. 18 hours is too many hours of battery life to be realistic. They should put in a bigger battery; the size of the device has the capacity to charge a larger battery. The device is also too expensive for so few options. There are too many buttons for the microphones, and it doesn't include a microphone. The effects are barely audible with the music, and the bass boots don't make much of a difference. Option (A) only lowers the volume, only two speakers, and a lot of lights. The price is very high for so little technology, few options, and it doesn't include a microphone. Two microphones cost $170. It includes two wheels to use it as a mat, but who drags a device that costs over $650 on the floor?

Fantastic piece of equipment. Use it for large cookouts and parties. Can be heard clear across my half acre. Kids love the colors and i love the clarity. Battery is very good (i got about 8 hours with it blaring and lights running, probably get double that at a reasonable volume and no lights). Wheels are "ok", not impossible to pull through grass but not super easy either. Everything else being so good makes it irrelevant

Powerful bass with no distortion. Clear sound. Long-lasting detachable battery. Easy to remove and replace with a fully charged battery. Great for outdoor and indoor parties. Best for karaoke, too! Best speaker for all ages. Works well in a noisy environment like factory.

We love this speaker! We have been using it for awhile now and love it! Lots of friends are asking where we got it as well. Love how it’s portable and doesn’t need to be plugged in, really like the handle to move it around where we need it, and really like the app to change lighting features and sounds etc. overall very happy with my purchase!

Take the party wherever you go. I have used the Partybox in my home , poolside as well our vacation home. I’m not an audiophile however sound quality has exceeded my expectations. I liked it so much I purchased a second one to listen in stereo.

My kids live this thing. They take it to their practices and games eta. It has a long battery life so far and plays loudly and clearly.

This JBL 320 has an amazing bass, especially in the deep mode. I used to have the Sony, but I returned it as its bass was so muddy. I also have the Bose L1 pro 8, I always thought it had the very deep bass until I bought this JBL 320 and realized its bass could go even deeper than the Bose. Not sure how JBL could do this with 1/2 price of the Bose. Anyway, this is the speaker you want to buy if the bass is matter to you.
