This speaker exceeded my expectations completely. The 18 hours can possibly be achieved if you have it at about a quarter of the volume without the light display on and bass boost off. Getting another battery to backup for portable use would be ideal if you want to jam the 1st few hours to the max before you pop in another battery. An outlet is ideal if you want to jam to full compacity at a party. I'm definitely investing in a 2nd one in the future to pair!

Item is great for home and party use. I bought it for my husband and the quality is great. Overall, it has a battery so you dont have to keep it pluggef in. Customer service is quick. We went in, asked for the item, paid for it and we were out. Excellent service.

I absolutely loved this speaker; it has perfect sound—it sounds spectacular! I highly recommend it for camping or for places where there is no power supply; you can use it without any issues whatsoever. All in all, it is super, super, super, super good.

I have only purchased from another top high-end brand for the last 40 years. I have three lifestyle systems, 5 smart speakers, small travel speakers, and more. However, my 22-year-old daughter insisted we try the JBL Party Box speaker for her graduation party, and it made the party! We used it in the driveway after graduation. We moved it to the house and played oldies, and everybody connected to Wi-Fi and got an opportunity to play their songs. Then it disappeared outside to the 600sqft patio. Then back inside with the adults because the battery was low. We danced, sang songs and hung out until 2:30 am. The speaker and my daughter were the stars ofr the day. THANK YOU!

I have one of these already and have been using it for a year. Amazing bass and sound quality, lights are a fun party edition and works very well with the JBL mics! Definitely recommend if you need a party speaker as the battery life is amazing!

Threw a 50+ person party and this speaker kept everyone jumping! Would get a second one to pair them! Loud but no distortions! Nice input panel in the back with illumination!
