The sound is decent. The light show is good. Purchased it for the summer sounds better indoors than out.

I needed something that not only had good sound , but that had a visual component to it. This was perfect. In the lat hours of my mothers life she enjoyed listening to her favorite music.

Great sound quality that really slams. Fun to have outside at night by the fire. Fun conversation piece and cool ambient lighting.

Sound is great if all you care about is bass, but if you listen to a variety of music like I do and like a speaker with good range then this speaker is not for you. The bass tends to drown out the highs and mids causing the music to sound muffled. All you hear is bass. I exchanged it for a Beats Plus and was happy with the Beats. Again to each his own, but for me the bass was too overwhelming and it took away from the individual instruments and voice of the musician.

I love this speaker. It is very entertaining. The variation of colors is amazing. This is a must have item.

I loved this speaker but I've only had it for 7 months and it all of a sudden won't work. It just randomly disconnected from my iphone and won't connect to anything!! Pretty disappointing for the price you pay for it!!

Piece of junk! I bought this for my daughter and it didn't last 3 months.

Similar to other micro USB chargers, the port to connect the cord became loose shortly after purchasing. I returned it to Best Buy knowing that eventually it wasn't going to charge as it was becoming more and more finicky. Best Buy wouldn't return it because they claimed it was a cord problem. I bought another cord just in case but that didn't help and now I have to hold the cord into the port to charge the speaker. This is no longer practical. The speaker worked great while I got to use it.

I bought this speaker for Christmas as a gift to my daughter just to be disappointed that it has problem pairing with any iPhone in the house. The pairing only lasts less than a second. I took it yesterday to exchange it with another JBL Pulse 2, and unfortunately I having the same pairing problems as the first one. I called JBL customer support, and after factory resetting, turning bluetooth on/off, speakers on/off, they recommended it to exchange it for another one. The speaker is very cool, only one in the market with the light features. I hope the third is a charm.
