    Not impressed by the sound that the Pulse 4 puts out the lights how is cool but the sound is where it's at returning mine "NOT F FOR THE LOUD"

    Cuts off!

    When it works, it’s great, but for some reason it cuts off when it’s fully charged and/or plugged in. Does not have long battery life. Primarily used for outdoor pool time. Usually cuts off before we’re done swimming. Will be returning this product.

    This is our second jbl speaker like this. The first one we thought we just got a bad one. The second does the same thing. Just quits playing. The weird thing is I follow a fitness guy on IG and he has one also and during the workout his stops also. It is so frustrating.

    This product does not hold a charge. Less than 2 years with product and only used this a handful of times. States on product that it can be accessible with other smart devices and is not by far. Waste of money if you dont get the extra warranty to this product.

    It sounds great, but I think that all the lightning makes the battery died too quick.

    A purchase I don’t regret

    I have had this speaker for 4 years now, and it’s a 10/10. It has been knocked over who knows how many times, the worst being when it got knock over onto a concrete floor a couple months ago when out dogs ran into the table and it only got a small surface crack. I love how I can customize the colors on the JBL app, and the sound quality is amazing. I got it during an amazing sale on vacation in July 2020, and I have definitely got my money’s worth and will continue to enjoy it for however many years it lasts.

    This speaker is not what we expected. It drops bluetooth connection. There’s no wired connection if bluetooth doesn’t work.

    After a month of using it the speaker started to crack and it was getting very hard to not notice! Wasted so much money on this.

      JBL Pulse 4 has our latest technology which is PartyBoost. As Bluetooth improves, so do our portable products. The PartyBoost feature isn't compatible with the previous Connect and Connect +. As of the moment, our JBL Pulse 4 can wirelessly connect with another Pulse 4, Flip 5, and Boombox 2. JBL

    Good speaker, but poor quality control…

    I bought the JBL Pulse 4 to use the party boost feature with my Extreme3. The combination provides better ambient sound and increased volume. The lights are a nice add and look great! The light bar is covered by a thick plastic-glass cover and there are smudges on the inside of the plastic-glass that cannot be cleaned. This is quite disappointing if you care about the small details. Especially for a speaker that is grossly overpriced at $249. Granted I purchased on Cyber Monday for $149, but this was a bummer nonetheless. I would never have purchased this for $249. So, I guess I shouldn’t complain since I was able to get a rare bargain on the Pulse 4.

    Just purchased the pulse 4 and it looks and sounds great! I also have the pulse 3 and they are NOT compatible, your NOT able to pair the two. Not sure why JBL didn’t take that into consideration since that is one of their selling points. Hopefully they can fix that.
